About the role

  • Oversee the core operational finance processes and ensure the accuracy, governance, and integrity of our financial and operational data.
  • Manage two autonomous, high-performing direct reports and partner closely with the CFO, the Partnerships team, Analytics, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting dashboards.
  • Support cashflow monitoring and reporting to the Leadership Team.
  • Ensure alignment of forecasts with business inputs from Marketing, Partnerships, and Leadership.
  • Maintain financial models and ensure accuracy of underlying data sources.
  • Own financial data quality and governance for FP&A reporting.
  • Perform ongoing data accuracy checks across Looker dashboards and underlying datasets.
  • Partner with Analytics/Data to flag and resolve anomalies.
  • Ensure reporting consistency across operational and financial teams.
  • Strengthen validation processes to improve reliability of financial insights.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to the Finance Operations specialist managing AP, expenses, budgets, and affiliate billing.
  • Oversee OTA Finance Manager responsible for invoicing, partner-facing finance queries, reconciliations, credit limit management, and deposits.
  • Ensure outsourced accounting provider meets deadlines and quality expectations (no direct accounting tasks required).
  • Maintain smooth month-end and operational finance processes.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Partnerships, CFO, Analytics, and CEO.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, finance operations, or similar roles in tech, travel, marketplace, or high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Advanced Google Sheets and Excel user.
  • Seasoned Looker user or demonstrated ability to quickly master BI tools.
  • Experience managing or overseeing operational finance processes.
  • Comfortable working with outsourced accounting teams.
  • Strong communicator with ability to work cross-functionally with Partnerships, Analytics, and Leadership.
  • Thrives in high-trust, collaborative, low-ego environments.
  • Able to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
