Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement ISP/PSTPs and recommended plans emphasizing community employment
Manage daily operations in workroom, facility, and community employment settings
Oversee employment training, contract work, program maintenance, and community employment
Participate in ISP/PSTP and vocational profile development and manage a caseload
Monitor and evaluate clinical, educational, and vocational/employment programs
Collect and analyze data bi-monthly and recommend changes to rehabilitation interventions and teaching strategies
Meet monthly with the interdisciplinary team to review treatment, educational, and vocational/employment goals
Work individually and in groups with people served to develop skills
Supervise Job Coach I activities and assist with training new staff, relief staff, and interns
Provide training and development activities as needed
Complete monthly progress notes and semi-annual and/or annual assessments
Maintain program area, supplies, and equipment
Advocate for people served and perform related duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

One to two years of experience in a related function
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license presented at employment
At least 21 years of age
Valid US driver's license maintained for at least six months
Adequate insurance and safe driving record if using a personal vehicle
Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
CPR required within two weeks of hire
First Aid required within two weeks of hire
Safety Care required within 90 days of hire
MAP required within 150 days of hire
NET required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, lift at least 25 pounds, and assist clients with daily living tasks
Ability to operate a computer, calculator, copier, and printer
Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives
Knowledge of empowerment, self-advocacy, applied behavioral analysis, communication styles, assessment practices, crisis intervention, community resources, documentation requirements, and physical and independent living management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Ability to provide a positive role model
