About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support to and engage Safe Haven residents
Create and maintain a culture of safety and welcome for residents
Develop and enhance trusting relationships with residents
Encourage collaboration, mutual support, and respect
Help residents assess their needs and develop Individualized Action Plans
Administer and document medication for clients
Maintain required records for residents
Participate in all mandated training and staff meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

One or more years of experience and/or training in a related field preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid driver's license and driving requirements
CPR and First Aid certifications required within two weeks of hire
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, etc.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation values and principles
Knowledge of community resources for clients
