About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in implementing treatment programs, including ISP/ PSTPs and clinical programs
Maintain records for persons served
Provide training and support to persons served in completing ADLs, including showering, personal hygiene, dressing and household chores
Monitor physical and emotional needs, and report changes to supervisor
Store, administer, document and dispose of medication for persons served consistent with MAP requirements
Participate in all mandated training and staff meetings as directed by the Site Manager
Ensure required staff to person served ratio is maintained at all times
Provide physical intervention and/or first aid in the event of behavior or medical emergency
Must remain awake, alert and dressed throughout the entire shift.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
A bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field is preferred
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred
Strong time management and writing skills
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least 6 months
All applicants must be able to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment
All candidates must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting and driving record check.
