About the role
- Build and maintain robust three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Own and update the company’s monthly and long-range financial model
- Develop headcount and operating expense models to support scaling initiatives
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling for strategic decisions
- Support capital allocation analysis and ROI assessments
- Own monthly financial model formatting and reporting packages required by investors/lenders (e.g., Rubicon or similar institutional format)
- Support bank reporting and covenant compliance calculations
- Prepare reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial statement “walks”
- Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership
- Support acquisition evaluation and financial diligence as needed
- Develop transaction models including pro forma financial statements
- Coordinate with external diligence providers, bankers, and advisors as needed
- Own financial model within the company’s EPM system
- Enhance forecasting tools and reporting automation
- Improve data integrity and modeling processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong financial statement fluency (GAAP understanding required)
- Exceptional analytical rigor and attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently in a lean, high-growth environment
- Exposure / experience with M&A modeling and diligence a plus
- Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting to executive leadership
- Ability to interpret data and provide business / operational insights
