About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the strategic, administrative, financial, and operational management of the Child Services department
- Drive a management approach that promotes cross-functional collaboration
- Support teams through public service transformation initiatives
- Lead major projects and ensure the quality, continuity, and efficiency of public services provided to children and their families
- Act as deputy for the Head of Service in their absence
- Assist the Head of Service in planning and monitoring activities
- Contribute to the development, monitoring, and evaluation of service projects
- Organize, coordinate, and supervise team activities
- Ensure compliance with current regulations in the service's areas of intervention
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven successful professional experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the local government environment and public policies related to children and education
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, develop partnerships, and prepare decision-support reports
- Able to facilitate professional networks and lead projects
- Recognized for a strong commitment to public service, leadership, rigor, and the ability to bring people together
