About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Recruit, train, support, and develop volunteer leaders and teams
Foster a strong culture of serving, appreciation, and teamwork
Help create excellent guest experiences for Sunday services and major events
Collaborate on ministry planning, scheduling, strategy, and budgeting
Lead and support ministry events and volunteer onboarding experiences
Maintain accurate volunteer records and communication through Village Church platforms
Support emergency preparedness and serve as Incident Coordinator
Manage ministry supplies and equipment
Participate in Village-wide events, leadership development, and regional collaboration
Step into leadership support roles as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Passion for people, leadership development, and the local church
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
A servant-hearted attitude with flexibility and initiative
Experience leading or serving in church ministry environments is an asset
Ability to recruit, motivate, and coach volunteers effectively
Alignment with Village Church’s mission, values, and beliefs
Class 5 driver’s license required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
