About the role

  • Provides technical expertise to MEP firms, Design/Build contractors and other specifiers
  • Builds and maintains long-term relationships with MEP engineers, architects, general contractors, EPCs, builders, and manufacturing accounts
  • Executes account strategies as directed by management
  • Delivers professional presentations to key stakeholders
  • Collaborates closely with external customers and partners, as well as internal sales and product engineering teams
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to revise existing specifications
  • Drives demand for company products by initiating new customer engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil engineering (or related field), or applicable licensure (CPD, GPD, etc.) required (May consider 10+ years of professional experience in piping design and/or installation in lieu of this requirement)
  • 3-5 industry experience required
  • Current and valid Driver License required
  • Detailed knowledge of codes and standards
  • Understanding of specifications and how they are developed and utilized within assigned industries
  • Proficient in the use of common office equipment and software – including: computers, printers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Experienced in the use of CRM tools and their application in sales environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Detailed organizational skills
