About the role
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of a production segment across multiple production lines in a multi-shift system.
- Responsible for production-related oversight of the segment, e.g., procurement of raw materials.
- Ensure production and delivery to internal and external customers while meeting high quality standards.
- Continuous development and improvement of existing production processes.
- Optimize processes and implement necessary measures.
- Prepare annual budgets and develop long-term strategies to maintain the segment’s competitiveness.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), or an equivalent qualification.
- Solid knowledge of the metalworking industry—ideally with a focus on machining and assembly.
- Several years of leadership experience in a management position within a manufacturing company.
- Budget responsibility for a large production unit.
- Deep understanding of quality- and cost-optimized production processes.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Empathetic leader with assertiveness and strategic foresight.
