About the role

  • Performs quality inspections for both dimensional and cosmetic checks of manufactured products
  • Ensures products quality meets company’s regulations and standards
  • Enters dimensional and cosmetic data into Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) software utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems
  • Measures dimensions of products to verify conformation to specifications
  • Inspects the quality of raw materials received from suppliers utilizing visual checks and Incoming Goods Control (IGC) module
  • Records inspection or tests data such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content
  • Documents inspection results utilizing written reports and electronic data entry
  • Reports non-conformance issues to proper personnel
  • Attends meetings as required or assigned
  • Maintains a clean work environment

Requirements

  • Knowledge of computer software Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and Access
  • Ability to be detail oriented in terms of evaluating documenting and adhering to specified procedures
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality control
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
