About the role
- Drive the industrial sales strategy through the industrial sales team
- Create long-term relationships with strategic headquarter accounts
- Work with the regions to further cultivate opportunities at a local level
- Lead the team on best practices, segment specific leads and disseminating information on changes in codes and standards
- Cultivate long-term relationships with strategic headquarter accounts
- Identify and follow up on leads provided by Inside Sales, Marketing or Sales Strategy
- Deliver professional sales presentations to advance market growth
- Utilize analytics to monitor KPIs of industrial team and develop countermeasures when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Management
- Seven years successful industrial sales experience required
- Working knowledge of customers, trends, and associations in industrial segment
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; SAP and Business Warehouse; Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter who has the ability to work well with others as well as work independently
- Strong relationship building and strategic selling skills
- Ability to identify market dynamics and quickly define and implement competitive campaigns
- Strong presentation skills with the capability of effectively presenting to all levels of the organization
- Desire to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level.
