About the role

  • Lead end-to-end design for voice-powered features and AI-assisted workflows within our SaaS product
  • Conduct in-person and remote research with dental professionals to understand clinical workflows, pain points, and opportunities for voice-first solutions
  • Prototype rapidly using modern design engineering tools, creating high-fidelity, functional prototypes that go beyond static mockups
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to define product requirements, interaction models, and technical feasibility
  • Use a "Good, Better, Best" framework to iterate quickly, delivering functional solutions while striving for continuous refinement
  • Translate complex clinical workflows into intuitive voice interactions and AI-powered experiences that clinicians can easily adopt
  • Work within and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across voice, visual, and multimodal experiences

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in UX, UI, or Product Design for digital products, with a portfolio showcasing interaction design and innovative solutions
  • Kind, empathetic, curious, and collaborative, with a user-first mindset and genuine interest in healthcare
  • Comfort designing for conversational interfaces, voice interactions, or AI-powered experiences (or strong enthusiasm to learn)
  • Proficiency with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or comparable code-based design tools. You prototype with code, not just Figma mockups
  • Comfortable conducting in-person and remote user research with clinicians, translating insights into actionable design decisions
  • Proven ability to work closely with product managers and engineers, bridging design and technical implementation
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, iterating quickly based on feedback and evolving priorities
  • Strong skills in presenting and articulating design decisions to stakeholders at all levels
  • Expert in Figma with functional knowledge of front-end technologies like React and Tailwind
