Administrate IP/MPLS transport network to ensure mobile data/voice and corporate circuits meet performance and resilience guidelines
Design IP MPLS transport within a shared transport serving two MNOs in a multivendor environment
Cooperate with Network Engineering teams for capacity expansion (Fiber Optic transport, MW Access & Provisioning) and corporate customer handling teams
Coordinate with FO implementation teams and transport operations to implement Network Engineering work orders
Report to the Transport Network Architecture & Performance Manager
Administrate IP transport design and network design for optimum transport performance
Seek optimization and incorporate technological evolution in the transport domain
Assist in capacity planning and backhauling tasks (network monitoring, reporting, NMS dataset handling)
Incorporate new technologies/protocols (e.g., QoS issues, IPv6, direct X2)
Handle/understand HLD documents and support HLD and LLD creation when needed
Perform NW resource dimensioning for IP/MPLS transport on an annual basis
Use tools to monitor and analyze performance trends (e.g., QoS-based KPIs, dependencies between metrics)
Requirements
BS/MSC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics with Specialization on Telecoms/Digital Communications/Information technology/Mobile communications
Good Knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI models
Having at least one of the following certifications or having equivalent competencies: Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIS
Knowledge of BGP routing protocols
L2 switching and IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting and networking
Good Knowledge of QoS mechanisms
Knowledge on basic transport technologies (MW systems, SDH, Ethernet and packet technologies)
Good knowledge on IP/MPLS systems
Knowledge of basic RAN architectures (2G/3G/4G)
Good command in Greek/English language (Fluent Oral and Written)
Excellent Communication (written/verbal)
Highly organized and able to work in a multi-tasking environment
Able to perform under pressure & meet deadlines
Analytical thinking and innovative initiatives are considered as major qualification
