HR Generalist
Victory ProjectHR Generalist maintaining and reporting on Human Resources information. Collaborating in employee benefit programs and supporting Senior Management team.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for maintaining, updating and reporting on all Human Resources information
- Provide information to agency staff and prepare reports and documents for the Human Resources Department
- Provide support to the Senior Management team
- Responsible for the planning and administration of employee benefit programs
- Collaborate with both the Human Resources and Finance departments to coordinate the daily administration of employee benefits
- Communicate benefit plan details, addressing and resolving inquiries, and escalating complex cases as needed
- Manage HRIS functions in Paylocity, facilitating accurate data collection and robust reporting capabilities
- Oversee and execute onboarding processes for all new hires
- Track and respond to all state unemployment insurance notices
- Coordinates daily benefits administration
- Administer benefits systems online, ensuring data integrity and accurate electronic submissions to vendors
- Manage Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) and federal FMLA processes
- Administer leaves of absence and disability claims
- Collaborate with the HR team and other members of the VPI staff to ensure seamless coordination and deliver exceptional service and support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates or Bachelor's degree required
- One to two years of experience working in an office environment in the HR field, preferably in benefits
- Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred
- Detail orientated and able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
- Proficient computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be CPR certified (may be obtained upon hire)
- Completed TB screening (may be obtained upon hire)
- Three work related professional references; at least 2 from manager or supervisor.
