About the role

  • Own hands on engineering execution for existing platforms, including feature development, system improvements, scalability, and operational reliability
  • Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems supporting high-volume, event-driven workflows
  • Serve as the technical owner for acquired systems, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with Victory Live platform standards
  • Partner with engineering leadership on technical direction, system integration strategy, and delivery commitments
  • Lead system design and implementation for complex or high-impact initiatives, contributing directly to code and technical solutions
  • Own production operations for assigned platforms, including monitoring, incident response, and continuous reliability improvements
  • Provide technical mentorship through code reviews, architectural guidance, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience with the following technologies: C# and .NET
  • SQL
  • Redis
  • Cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Messaging systems including RabbitMQ and Kafka
  • Docker
  • Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with log aggregation and monitoring platforms to detect, investigate, and resolve issues, including tools such as ELK and DataDog
  • Strong experience designing and supporting distributed systems in a production environment
  • Proven ability to own systems end to end, from development through production support
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering leadership.
