About the role
- Apply technical knowledge to identify issues of non-compliance with service provider registration and licensing schemes
- Assess and provide advice and reporting to senior leadership
- Exercise professional independent judgement during compliance activities to identify issues
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk-based compliance programs
- Schedule and deliver comprehensive programs of compliance activities across external service provider networks
- Assess and present advice to senior leaders and/or external industry stakeholders
Requirements
- Recognised formal vehicle engineering or vehicle trade qualifications in an automotive vehicle mechanical discipline
- Formal licensed vehicle tester (LVT) accreditation or an ability to gain admission to become an accredited LVT
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position
- Recipients of Victorian Public Service (VPS) voluntary departure packages should note that re-employment restrictions apply
- Non-VPS applicants will be subject to a probation period of six months
