About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review Zenoti release notes, updates and new features to identify potential operational benefits.
- Research and evaluate new modules, features and complementary software solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations to the IT Director.
- Participate in vendor demos and discovery sessions regarding emerging functionality and integrations.
- Perform testing, configuration and on-site training — availability for 10–30% travel required.
- Configure features, workflows and modules during initial rollout in accordance with operational and IT requirements.
- Execute end-to-end testing, validate functional behavior and document results.
- Prepare change management deliverables including rollout plans, training materials and implementation guidelines.
- Coordinate with the IT team and vendors for integrations or technical dependencies.
- Develop high-quality training materials including user guides, SOPs, video tutorials and quick-reference tools.
- Deliver train-the-trainer sessions to operational leads prior to field deployment.
- Support early implementation phases to ensure adoption and confirm system behavior.
- Transition mature features to operational department owners once validated and stable.
- Lead small- to medium-sized technology and application projects, including scoping, timelines and deliverables.
- Promote cross-department collaboration to gather requirements and communicate project status.
- Ensure project execution adheres to IT processes, documentation standards and quality expectations.
- Assist with issue identification during testing or deployment phases and coordinate resolution with vendors.
- Maintain configuration documentation, test scripts and change logs.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual work and enhance data consistency.
- Ensure stabilized process transfers to operational teams are clear and well documented.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in application support, systems analysis or IT project coordination.
- Experience with Zenoti or similar clinic/spa/retail management systems is an asset.
- Strong understanding of system configuration, workflow mapping and requirements gathering.
- Excellent training, communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in testing, quality assurance processes and change management.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in French and English to support operations at our Quebec sites (60%) and to assist, guide and collaborate with teams and managers located outside Quebec (Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta — 40% of sites).
