About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a day-to-day resource for the sales team, providing guidance on CRM usage, opportunity management, and sales processes.
  • Support sales and marketing campaigns through Salesforce campaign management, lead tracking, and reporting.
  • Monitor CRM adoption and data quality, partnering with sales leadership to improve compliance and pipeline visibility.
  • Collaborate on user training, and ongoing coaching on Salesforce best practices.
  • Assist with pipeline reviews, opportunity management, and sales activity tracking to support accountability and forecasting accuracy.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure alignment of processes, data, and customer information.
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPI reports, and executive summaries.
  • Analyze sales trends, pipeline performance, customer activity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Generate regular reports for sales leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate and improve sales processes, workflows, and reporting structures.
  • Support sales forecasting and revenue planning activities.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and project execution.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, CRM Administration, Sales Support, or Business Analytics.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM administration and reporting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting a technical, industrial, manufacturing, or engineering-based sales organization.
