About the role
- Create custom technical details for pre- and post-award phases.
- Serve as liaison between the engineering and sales departments.
- Facilitate change requests, communicating impacts on scope, budget, and schedule.
- Analyze project documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
- Manage HVAC commercial construction projects from initiation through completion.
- Use pricing schedules and internal tools to develop accurate proposals.
- Monitor project progress, maintain timelines, and adjust as needed.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to align goals and deliverables.
- Generate quotes, submittals, and transmittals using internal resources.
- Conduct job site inspections and provide detailed technical reports.
- Support strategic sales initiatives and maintain accurate project records.
- Provide technical training and support for internal teams and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred but will consider other engineering degrees.
- ANSI/ASHRAE/IES standards knowledge a big plus.
- Experience in commercial construction or HVAC engineering preferred not required.
- Experience with vibration isolation and seismic/wind restraint is a plus.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Inventor is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- 15% to 25% Travel possibility.
