About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure automatic scheduling performed by the scheduling robot.
- Plan loads and route orders released for delivery.
- Consolidate vehicle availability in the Frota Online system.
- Perform advance scheduling (D-1) of deliveries.
- Make schedules throughout the day for second trips, remaining items and new demands.
- Generate transportation reports with delivery sequences and loading times.
- Ensure availability of the contracted fleet.
- Participate in fleet sizing.
- Manage carriers and the contracted service level.
- Ensure operational cadence is met.
- Comply with contractual distribution percentages among carriers.
- Update Master Data used by the scheduling robot.
- Ensure the inputs required for automatic scheduling are correct.
- Handle incidents received via SAT (Carrier Service System).
- Manage FOB and CIF loading grids.
- Plan considering fleet availability; customer restrictions; delivery windows; vehicle type; required equipment; and operational constraints.
- Request order supplements from Customer Service when necessary to close loads and routes.
- Reschedule deliveries in situations of deviations or operational changes.
- Address deviations with interfacing areas.
- Act on issues related to fleet availability, loading capacity and deliveries.
- Engage carriers, Customer Service, depots and other areas to correct deviations.
- Generate an end-of-day pending items report.
- Report late orders, orders at risk of delay or orders not served.
- Record and track action plans to regularize pending issues.
- Execute the pick-up/collection plan.
- Provide Level 1 (Monitoring) support for day-to-day operational questions.
- Support special operations such as: Prime Customers; Automatic Resupply; Special CIF; Maritime Diesel Oil (ODM); DOM (Driver-Operated Unloading).
- Ensure on-time deliveries using a limited fleet, handle operational deviations in real time, and maintain high productivity without compromising customer satisfaction and logistics costs.
Requirements
