About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage MANU's asset management, supporting the definition, standardization and improvement of maintenance strategies for critical equipment, systems and processes;
- Serve as a technical reference for maintenance of Automotive Refueling Units (UAAs), supporting sites in anomaly analysis, troubleshooting, defining technical scope and addressing recurring failures;
- Prepare and review preventive, predictive and regulatory maintenance plans, ensuring adherence, technical quality and alignment with asset criticality;
- Participate in PCM (Maintenance Planning and Control) routines, contributing to annual planning, 52-week scheduling, backlog management, risk/criticality-based prioritization and execution tracking via CMMS;
- Monitor maintenance and reliability indicators such as availability, plan adherence, backlog, MTBF, MTTR, costs, failure recurrence and corrective work order completion;
- Monitor fleet maintenance indicators, such as parts and tire replacements to avoid waste, vehicle availability rates, repair time and operational costs, identifying deviations and supporting implementation of corrective actions;
- Interpret telemetry data and reports to identify recurring failures and improve performance, defining maintenance priorities according to operational criticality;
- Lead and support failure analyses using structured methodologies (RCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA/FMECA or similar), proposing sustainable action plans;
- Contribute to continuous improvement, operational excellence and process standardization initiatives, linking data, management routines, action plans and performance gains;
- Provide technical support for projects, modifications, purchases, commissioning and asset improvements, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices, HSE, technical standards and internal requirements. Propose fleet utilization optimization, supporting truck renewal and standardization to increase reliability;
- Work integrally with execution, PCM, operations, procurement/MRO, engineering and suppliers, strengthening maintenance governance and data-driven decision-making;
- Provide technical support for new fleet acquisitions, standardizing maintenance processes and implementing maintenance engineering best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering;
- Experience in industrial maintenance, asset management, maintenance engineering or reliability engineering;
- Knowledge of Automotive Refueling Units (UAAs), fueling systems, pumps, metering, electrical systems, automation, piping, valves, filters and associated components;
- Knowledge of automotive mechanics (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, hydraulics and pneumatics) and automotive electrical systems;
- Knowledge of PCM: planning, scheduling, maintenance plans, backlog management, prioritization and execution control;
- Knowledge of reliability methodologies and failure analysis (RCA, FMEA/FMECA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa or similar);
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills;
- Power BI knowledge preferred;
- Knowledge of maintenance and reliability KPIs: availability, plan adherence, MTBF, MTTR, costs, backlog and failure recurrence;
- Familiarity with HSE, legal requirements, technical standards and procedures applicable to the maintenance of operational assets.
