About the role
- Act as the interface between the Projects/Investments area and commercial teams, ensuring clear, organized and efficient communication to obtain strategic data and information.
- Structure analyses and narratives (data storytelling) using data, with high-level written and verbal communication for both technical and executive audiences.
- Map opportunities and support the definition of course corrections based on sector and business knowledge.
- Develop economic and financial models (valuation) to assess the profitability of the project portfolio and identify optimization opportunities.
- Manage investments by monitoring actual vs. budget vs. forecast CAPEX, ensuring adherence to Strategic Planning and governance cycles.
- Monitor investment KPIs, ensuring visibility, consistent indicators and analyses that support decision-making.
- Prepare executive presentations for executive management, committees, the board of directors and the holding company, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Support the monitoring of strategic projects and performance initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Requirements
- Prior experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, controllership, project management or related areas.
- Experience in the energy sector, oil & gas or fuel distribution is a plus.
- Proactive in gathering and consolidating information from internal teams.
- Organized, with a strong sense of priorities and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset, critical thinking and strategic vision.
- Clear communicator with influencing skills and the ability to work with different levels of the organization.
- Solid knowledge of corporate finance, valuation, investment analysis and financial modeling.
- Good knowledge of KPIs, performance metrics and project governance.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with analytical tools; knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus.
- Ability to develop structured narratives and presentations for an executive audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or related fields.
