About the role
- Work with business units and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Use Agile methodologies and CRISP-DM for project development with multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform exploratory analysis of large volumes of data, identifying patterns and trends relevant to the business.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau / Power BI.
- Create exploratory analyses to identify patterns, deviations and opportunities.
- Ensure clear, intuitive visualizations that support decision-making.
- Define, document and monitor strategic, tactical and operational KPIs.
- Translate business objectives into measurable metrics.
- Ensure standardization of indicators and concepts across areas.
- Translate business questions into analytical hypotheses.
- Support managers in interpreting and using data for decision-making.
- Validate data and indicators before publication.
- Document business rules, calculations and assumptions.
- Support governance initiatives at the analytics layer (glossary, metrics dictionary, versioning).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems or other fields with a data specialization.
- Proven experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
- Track record of leadership or active participation in complex data science and artificial intelligence projects.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing to analyze correlations and inferences in datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, machine learning libraries, knowledge of SQL and familiarity with PySpark.
- Experience conducting A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features and optimizations.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Skill in data visualization and storytelling.
- Ability to contribute analytical insights to improve user experience.
- Experience with Azure and use of services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cognitive Services; experience with GCP services such as AI Platform and BigQuery.
- Certifications in data science on Azure and/or GCP platforms (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate, Advanced Data Analytics).
- Experience with LLMs (Large Language Models), including agents, RAGs and prompt engineering.
- Strong command of machine learning libraries.
- Knowledge of MLOps for continuous integration and delivery of AI models.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and challenges.
- Strong skills in solving complex data problems with efficiency and creativity.
- Problem-solving ability and a strong sense of ownership.
- Orientation toward innovation and a continuous drive for learning and development.
- Excellent communication to translate technical and business needs.
- Proactivity and a sense of urgency to address critical demands.
