About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage complex supply chain projects from initiation to closure
Optimize supply network relationships and processes
Mitigate risks and ensure efficient material flow to support product development and manufacturing goals
Review, analyze and provide guidance to the organization using supply chain information from multiple sources
Develop, plan, and execute strategic supply chain programs
Collaborate cross-functionally with Suppliers including contract manufacturers, R&D, Engineering, Product Line Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance and Sales
Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively to all levels of the organization
Prepare and present reports and presentations on program performance to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Business (Operations/ Supply Chain Management preferred), Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Master's degree preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management
At least 3 years in operations management, program or project management role within a manufacturing environment
Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional supply chain projects from conception to completion
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software
Excellent project management skills
Certifications including PMP, CSCM or CPIM are a plus
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the telecommunications or optical technology industry is a plus
Ability and willingness to travel internationally
Experience in working with Global and diverse suppliers of multiple component and service offerings
