About the role
- Development of high-speed digital hardware with data rates up to 3.2 Tbit/s.
- Schematic design and component selection.
- 3D EM simulation of critical signal paths.
- Selection of PCB materials and definition of PCB layer stacks.
- Support the layout team on the routing of critical signal paths.
- Optimize design and routing for signal integrity.
- Design and implementation of thermal management solutions.
- PCBA bring-up.
- Functional and performance testing (design verification).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable field of study.
- Experience in the development of high‑speed digital hardware.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of high‑frequency electronics.
- Experience with FPGAs featuring high‑speed transceivers.
- Experience with Ethernet hardware is an advantage.
- Experience with PCIe hardware is an advantage.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to tackle technical challenges.
- Analytical, systematic, and independent working style.
