About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support initiatives including Vulnerability management, SIEM, and Analytics
Document process and procedure for security operations
Identify process improvement opportunities within security operations
Work with service owners in Information Security, IT Security, and IT Global Infrastructure Delivery Center
Test security controls, alerts, rules, and procedures for effectiveness
Ability to create and automate tasks utilizing scripting languages such as PowerShell and python, for power automation
Familiarity with frameworks such as Lean Sigma, CIS controls, NIST
Understand and prioritize information security risks pertinent to Viatris business objectives and compliance requirements
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging trends and techniques regarding information security risk
Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in Cyber Security or a related field of study
A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
Knowledge of information security, incident response, or threat intelligence
Excellent information technology skills
Ability to complete assigned project tasks
Customer service focused attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organization skills
Excellent attention to detail
