About the role

  • You will work closely with the Data Engineering team and the Data Science team, solving a wide variety of engineering challenges using Clojure and free software tools on AWS, working with high-availability distributed systems.

Requirements

  • Industry experience with Clojure
  • Strong creative problem-solver with a love of the craft
  • Excellent written English communication
  • Self-directed, capable of making progress with little oversight
  • Experience with distributed systems (e.g., microservices, fault‑tolerant architectures) — great to have
  • Proficiency in Kafka and Redis — great to have
  • Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes — great to have
  • DevOps mindset — great to have
  • Performance tuning expertise — great to have
  • Familiarity with data science workflows, analytics pipelines, or ML support — great to have
  • Domain knowledge in video, MarTech, AdTech, and data connectivity — great to have
