About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of payroll clients, delivering accurate and timely payroll processing, tax and statistical compliance, online banking, and consulting services for both international and local companies.
- Perform accurate monthly payroll calculations for all employee types (office, rotation, and shift), including vacation, sick leave, and terminations.
- Prepare and release pay slips.
- Ensure tax and statistical compliance, including reporting and maintaining registers.
- Prepare and process payment orders (SWIFT, online banking).
- Monitor tax, labor legislation; prepare news alerts and deliver webinars on payroll topics.
- Handle billing to clients and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Analyze compensation data and assess taxability under various tax scenarios.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with tax authorities, addressing inquiries and compliance issues.
- Help payroll colleagues to automate and improve existing processes.
- Support other payroll-related activities as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial (although school-leavers with strong potential are also welcome)
- Prior internship or work experience in payroll, finance, or a related area is advantageous
- Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of responsibility.
