About the role

  • Directly manage the complete recruitment process for Montreal, QC and Somerville, MA, championing an exceptional candidate experience
  • Ensure VIA’s talent strategy aligns with business objectives by providing strategic partnership to hiring teams, leadership, and the broader POps team
  • Identify hiring needs, provide recruitment support, training, coordinate interviews, and propose process improvements
  • Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter and targeted outreach)
  • Own creative recruitment strategies and opportunities that fit VIA’s culture and hiring needs
  • Support equitable recruitment practices and DE&I initiatives
  • Develop and execute employer branding strategy to elevate VIA's visibility in talent markets
  • Identify and lead opportunities to engage with the tech community (organize tech talks, represent VIA at conferences)
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to create content showcasing VIA's culture and innovation
  • Contribute to VIA’s growth strategy through recruitment and onboarding efforts

  • Proven track record in full-cycle technical recruitment and strong understanding of U.S. and Canada tech talent markets
  • Proficiency with modern recruiting technologies and experience optimizing recruitment workflows and data
  • Experience providing strategic partnership to hiring teams and leadership, including training, coordinating interviews, and process improvement
  • Support equitable recruitment practices and promote DE&I talent initiatives
  • Collaborative spirit, desire to learn, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail
