Technical Specialist – Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage the technical and commercial execution of projects in electrical infrastructure — particularly in relation to the decommissioning of nuclear facilities
- Plan and implement plant modifications and decommissioning of electrical systems at client sites, including project controlling and maintaining collaboration with clients and suppliers
- Prepare work and approvals within electrical operations as part of plant management
- Perform technical inspections of systems and handle and maintain technical documentation in accordance with customer requirements, legal regulations, standards and guidelines
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for electrical engineering projects
- Participate in interdisciplinary project teams with responsibility for scheduling and project coordination
- Design electrical installations at voltage levels up to 1 kV
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed training as an electrician with further qualifications as a technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering, or a university degree in electrical engineering
- Ideally experienced with CAD applications such as AutoCAD, Visio, EPLAN, Bentley MicroStation V8 or RUPLAN
- Confident user of MS Office programs and able to work independently and in a structured manner while collaborating with remote teams
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Valid Class B driving licence
