About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support our team in the administration of our servers and clients
  • Perform various tasks in the IT administration of MS Windows Server, clients and mobile devices (Apple iOS and Google Android)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues to resolve incidents in 1st- and partially 2nd-level support
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues
  • Configure user accounts and devices
  • Assist users with software and hardware usage
  • Document support requests in the Jira ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues or systems to the responsible specialist departments
  • Document processes, system configurations and changes in Atlassian Confluence
  • Track and update work progress in our Atlassian Jira ticketing system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training in IT, for example as an IT specialist in system integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira
  • Basic knowledge of server administration and networking
  • Terms such as “DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell or the OSI model” should be familiar
  • Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
  • Experience in IT support or a help desk environment
  • Technical affinity and a curious mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Service-oriented working style
  • Driver's license (category B or Class 3)
  • Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Strong team and communication skills
