Junior Project Manager, Digitalization – Finance (Public Sector)
ViJunior Project Manager Finance handling software implementations for public sector clients. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success and quality delivery.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Full responsibility for implementing our software solutions in financial accounting and related processes at public administrations and churches (new and existing customers)
- Ensure project objectives are met with respect to quality, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate stakeholders at all levels, including organizing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and acceptance sign-offs
- Work closely with the client, internal project teams, and external service providers
- Ensure documentation and regular reporting of project progress
- Conduct requirements management and risk analysis and derive appropriate measures
- Start as a consultant with intensive onboarding to our software solutions and project methodology, with step-by-step preparation to take on project management responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in business, public administration, or a related field, ideally with a focus on financial accounting
- Initial experience leading IT/software projects
- Ideally, industry experience in municipal administration
- Preferably knowledge of financial accounting and municipal budgeting processes
- Knowledge of project management (traditional and agile), ideally supported by certifications such as PRINCE2 or Scrum Master
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, structured and solution-oriented working style, and empathy in dealing with diverse stakeholders
- Willingness to travel within the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, and Saarland
- Business-fluent German
