About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to our customers on all matters related to the IT systems we operate
  • Installation, operation and maintenance of server systems, including appropriate documentation
  • Implement adjustments to operating systems and application software
  • Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues in direct contact with users (1st and 2nd-level support)
  • Administration of, for example, virtual Windows servers and the VMware platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems and hardware, e.g., servers, storage, backup, switches, routers
  • Desirable: experience in project work and with working at a systems integrator/IT service provider
  • Service-oriented, team player, independent, structured and proactive working style
  • Driver's license (Class B)
  • Fluent German and good English skills
