About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Performing various tasks in IT administration for Microsoft Windows servers and clients, as well as mobile devices
  • First point of contact for colleagues in 1st- and 2nd-level support
  • Onboarding of new colleagues and setup of user accounts and devices
  • Assisting users with the use of software and hardware
  • Documenting and tracking support requests in the Jira ticketing system
  • Escalating complex issues to the appropriate specialist departments
  • Creating and maintaining IT documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., as an IT Specialist for System Integration (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira
  • Knowledge of server administration and networking environments
  • Familiarity with terms like DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell, and the OSI model
  • Experience operating Microsoft Windows servers is an advantage
  • Experience in IT support or a help desk role
  • Technical affinity and curiosity for new IT technologies and topics
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Service-oriented work approach
  • Driver's license (category B or former Class 3)
  • Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
