About the role

  • Advising our service provider customers on the further development of their networks
  • Developing solution concepts for IP-/MPLS-based networks and services and documenting them in High Level and Low Level Designs
  • Automating operational processes in complex network environments
  • Testing and implementing concepts and detailed solutions
  • Preparing and delivering training sessions and workshops
  • Providing technical guidance to team members on projects
  • Presenting our solutions to management and technical teams
  • Participating in remote on-call duties

Requirements

  • Degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or equivalent qualification through practical experience, plus vendor certifications (Juniper, Nokia)
  • Many years of hands-on experience in planning and implementing carrier networks
  • Very good (ideally certified) knowledge of Juniper or Nokia and experience in Network Automation
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
  • Team player with analytical thinking and strong communication skills
  • Fluent German skills, good English skills
