About the role

  • Create and own complex execution schedules, including determining the level of detail and description of activities and resources for overhead line projects
  • Schedule planning during the bid/tender preparation phase
  • Update project schedules as required, including monitoring of resources
  • Prepare variance analyses and recommend corrective actions to secure the final delivery date
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project structures, identify the critical path, dependencies, and lead times
  • Integrate third-party schedules into an overall master schedule
  • Attend construction and scheduling meetings with clients and project managers
  • Ensure and maintain quality standards for schedule management, including regular project risk analyses
  • Consolidate individual schedules for Omexom's in-house scope into a division master schedule
  • Comply with the requirements of the Omexom Hochspannung GmbH IM system and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of all business processes
  • Perform assigned special tasks

Requirements

  • Completed degree, preferably in civil engineering, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in construction project management, preferably in high-voltage construction projects with a focus on scheduling, schedule control, and schedule monitoring
  • Experience with interfaces to typical technical and project-specific disciplines
  • Professional experience with MS Project and/or Primavera, and very good skills in MS Office
  • Driving license class B and strong consulting and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (during the probationary period 2–3 days per week; thereafter as required and by agreement)
  • Fluent German language skills
