About the role
- Identify and develop structural solutions for mobile telephony installations (foundations, masts and metal structures)
- Independently perform the structural calculations for the entire installation
- Review and verify structural calculations for existing buildings and roof structures
- Prepare preliminary designs, final detailed calculations and review construction/execution drawings
- Provide technical support during the tendering process and throughout execution
- Define the scope of work and perform detailed surveys of existing infrastructures or new constructions
- Serve as a point of contact with clients and authorities when required
- Optimize work processes to increase efficiency and quality
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a University of Applied Sciences (HES) with strong knowledge of structural analysis and steel construction, and at least 5 years of professional experience
- Ideally, professional experience in the mobile telecommunications sector or in overhead line construction
- Proficient with SIA standards and Eurocodes and experienced in structural analysis software
- Very good knowledge of German, minimum B2 level desired
- English is an advantage
