About the role

  • Identify and develop structural solutions for mobile telephony installations (foundations, masts and steel structures)
  • Independently perform the structural design and calculations for the entire installation
  • Review and verify the structural design of existing buildings and roof structures
  • Prepare preliminary sizing, final detailed designs and review execution/working drawings
  • Provide technical support during the tendering process and throughout construction/execution
  • Define the scope of requirements and carry out detailed surveys of existing infrastructure or new constructions
  • Act as the point of contact with clients and authorities when required
  • Optimize work processes to improve efficiency and quality

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering from a University of Applied Sciences (HES) with strong knowledge of structural analysis and steel construction, and at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Ideally, professional experience in the mobile telecommunications sector or in overhead line construction
  • Proficient with SIA standards and Eurocodes and with structural analysis software
  • Very good knowledge of German, minimum B2 desired. English is an advantage.
