About the role

  • Participation in the development, planning and implementation of offshore wind projects (national / international)
  • Technical work package manager wind turbine from contract negotiations until execution of the wind turbine supply contract up to the handover to the operating party
  • Scheduling, budget control and interdisciplinary coordination of the team
  • Manage the schedule for the work package in accordance with the overall project schedule
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations (HSE) will be considered in all phases of the project
  • Implementation of technical due diligence processes offshore wind
  • Participation in the identification and management of technical risks (internal & external), issues and impacts of the project
  • Preparation of technical documentation (specifications, processes, concepts)
  • Ensuring compliance with approval and certification requirements (national / international)
  • Assistance in ensuring the contractual conformity of technical documentation
  • Accompanying the execution work (installations and commissioning offshore) and implementation of acceptances, if necessary
  • Participation in industry-specific working groups (e.g. WAB) and research projects

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Wind Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in project management for infrastructure or energy projects, with a preference for offshore wind energy expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of large electrical or mechanical systems, paired with up-to-date market and technological insights
  • Strong team player with excellent intercultural communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally and to undertake offshore assignments when required
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
