About the role
- Proactively contact prospects and existing customers by phone (outbound) across the DACH region, primarily within public administration, foundations and similar organizations
- Conduct campaigns to assess needs and invite clients to online or on-site presentations without applying sales pressure over the phone
- Handle inquiries from existing customers, prepare quotations and follow up on decision-making
- Identify market trends and new business opportunities together with field sales and team leadership
- Maintain customer data, call notes and quotations in the CRM system (MS-Sales)
- Work closely with inside and field sales teams and actively contribute to the further development of telephone processes
Requirements
- Commercial training, ideally with an IT focus, or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in inside sales or telephone customer support in an IT environment or with complex/technical subject matter
- Confident use of MS365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint)
- Enjoy proactive telephone outreach (inbound & outbound) and the ability to address technical staff and executives professionally and appropriately for the target audience
- Interest in modern IT solutions and willingness to learn the product portfolio
- Communicative, team-oriented and customer-focused; able to work independently and in a structured way, remain motivated and consistently pursue targets
