About the role

  • Development, planning and implementation of offshore wind projects (national / international)
  • Development and specification of logistical concepts for the wind farm
  • Execution of technical due diligence processes
  • Evaluation of technical concepts and installation methods for offshore wind projects
  • Support in the development of the department, particularly with regard to offshore wind farm development projects
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Support in technical contract negotiations for logistics and installation scopes
  • Identification and coordination of technical interfaces and risks
  • Support for scheduling and reporting to the client
  • Handling of relevant customs procedures and technical contract management
  • Ensuring compliance with permitting and certification requirements (national / international)
  • Preparation of technical documentation and ensuring contractual compliance of technical documentation
  • Support of execution activities (offshore installations and commissioning)
  • Participation in industry working groups and research projects (e.g., WAB)

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering, with specializations such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related fields
  • Other relevant degrees include Nautical Sciences, Marine Logistics, Energy and Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management with corresponding focus areas
  • Three to five years of experience in project management in the field of renewable energy
  • Basic knowledge of applicable standards and relevant guidelines
  • Familiarity with the current state of the technology
  • Team player with strong (intercultural) communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; Chinese language skills preferred
  • Reliable, structured working style and process-oriented thinking
  • Confident, always courteous and professionally competent demeanour
  • Willingness to travel (domestic/international) and availability for offshore assignments (if required)
