About the role
- Overall responsibility for the implementation of our software solutions in the area of financial accounting and related processes at public administrations and churches (new and existing customers)
- Ensuring that project objectives are met with regard to quality, schedule, and budget
- Coordinating stakeholders at all levels, including organizing and moderating workshops, trainings, and acceptance/approval activities
- Close collaboration with the customer, internal project teams, and external service providers
- Ensuring documentation and regular reporting of project progress
- Performing requirements management and risk analysis and deriving appropriate measures
- Entry as a consultant with intensive onboarding to our software solutions and project methodology and gradual preparation to take on project management responsibilities
Requirements
- Degree in economics, public administration, or a related field, ideally with a focus on financial accounting
- Initial experience in leading IT/software projects
- Ideally experience in municipal administration
- Ideally knowledge of financial accounting and municipal budget processes
- Knowledge of project management (classic/waterfall and agile), ideally complemented by certifications such as PRINCE2 or Scrum Master
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, structured and solution-oriented way of working, and empathy when dealing with diverse stakeholders
- Willingness to travel within the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, and Saarland
- Business-fluent German language skills
