About the role
- Planning and execution of internal and external events with several hundred participants
- Creating innovative event content and integrating keynote speakers through comprehensive research
- Preparing and monitoring budgets, project plans and timelines to ensure objectives are met
- Managing attendee lists and, if necessary, implementing suitable tools
- Coordinating external event/PR agencies and logistics providers to support events
- Overseeing the creation of marketing materials and taking responsibility for the PR strategy and positioning, with a focus on relevant content and target-group‑appropriate messaging
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in a relevant field or equivalent experience in planning large-scale events
- Several years of hands-on experience in planning and executing events, ideally B2B and interactive formats such as workshops
- Strong organizational skills and initiative for managing schedules, budgets and complex processes
- Excellent communication skills, confident writing style and a good eye for content (e.g., articles, interviews, flyers)
- Interest in and quick grasp of technical topics (industry, automation, IT)
- Very good German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) and a valid driving license (class B)
