About the role
- Planning of temporary overhead power lines, including mast locations
- Performing rope-mechanical (catenary) analyses and assessments for the operation of temporary installations and overhead lines
- Conducting and evaluating rope-mechanical calculations as well as electrical clearance analyses
- Preparation of regulation tables
- Calculations and development of concepts for protective measures
- Supporting ongoing construction projects with planning-related questions
- Reviewing and approving project documentation
- Participation in and initiation of innovative solutions
- Preparation of installation/assembly instructions
Requirements
- Degree (university or university of applied sciences) in surveying, geography, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Professional experience in overhead line planning and routing
- Ability to perform rope-mechanical (catenary) calculations
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications
- Independent and reliable working style
- Valid driving licence (category B) required
- Basic knowledge of common industry software, such as FMProfil and Autodesk AutoCAD, is an advantage
- Good knowledge of higher mathematics (at least geometry and algebra) required
- Good scientific understanding of process workflows required
