About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform and review lease accounting activities
Ensure lease accounting is compliant with US GAAP (ASC 842)
Analyze lease-related balances and ensure accurate reflection in financial statements
Drive month‑end close activities
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lease related components of the financial statements
Assist with the final review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables
Prepare and provide audit support documentation
Act as a primary accounting contact for internal and external audits
Identify control gaps or process inefficiencies and drive remediation
Participate in system implementations, upgrades and process improvement initiatives
Support testing efforts for accounting-related projects
Validate outputs and ensure accounting accuracy following system or process changes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
Experience materially contributing to month‑end close, internal control compliance, and audit support
Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and communicate complex accounting topics to stakeholders
Experience in consumer, retail, apparel, footwear, or multi‑brand environments
Familiarity with data analytics tools or emerging technologies
SAP experience
BPC experience
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail with focus on accuracy
Ability to review and challenge financial data
Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
