About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support retail partners through store visits, product demos, and sales floor training to drive product knowledge and sales
Execute merchandising, promotional activations, and seasonal brand initiatives across the territory
Represent Altra at community events, races, expos, and consumer engagement activities
Build strong relationships with retail and community partners to increase brand awareness and advocacy
Partner with Sales Representatives and Field Service teams to deliver effective territory plans, training, and activations
Gather and share insights on consumer feedback, product performance, competitor activity, and market trends
Maintain accurate reporting, manage field resources responsibly, and ensure operational excellence
Achieve territory goals through consistent execution, strong organization, and proactive problem-solving

Requirements

What you’ll need

Familiarity with the Altra product line
Experience fitting and selling technical footwear
Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (including Outlook)
Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to take initiative
Reliable transportation
1+ year of specialty retail experience (run or outdoor specialty preferred)
2+ years of marketing, sales, or field service experience
