About the role
- Initiate authentic outreach – calls, messages, events, introductions – to warm relationships and open conversations
- Introduce VPP’s ownership pathways, assess candidate motivations, and determine true fit
- Become a trusted guide to prospective partners – helping them explore ownership, understand options, and visualize career transformation
- Collaborate closely with our Partnership Development team to hand off vetted candidates into structured evaluation and deal-making
- Represent VPP externally – at industry conferences, social platforms, etc.
- Work with Marketing to amplify voice, thought leadership, and referral engines
- Build and refine a national pipeline of high-potential veterinarians
- Research markets, hospitals, and industry movements to find aligned candidates before they raise their hands
