About the role

  • Own and manage the entire sales cycle from qualification and discovery to negotiation and closing
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with owners and operators of large-scale wind and solar farms in Europe or North America
  • Leverage deep understanding of renewable energy operations, business cases, and decision-making criteria
  • Uncover customer pain points and articulate technical and commercial solutions enabled by the vHive platform
  • Plan and deliver hands-on product demonstrations and Proof of Value projects (including flying drones)
  • Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics and communicate insights to marketing and product teams
  • Lead the RFX proposal process and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to meet customer deliverables
  • Provide product and market feedback to product management and technical teams
  • Travel as required to customer sites and major travel hubs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven, direct sales experience within the renewable energy sector (wind or solar)
  • Track record of selling to large-scale enterprise customers
  • Strong understanding of the wind and solar farm ecosystem, including key stakeholders, asset management workflows, and operational challenges
  • Hunter mentality with enthusiasm and perseverance to identify and close new business opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on problem solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset to navigate complex customer environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for global, multi-cultural audiences
  • Degree in engineering, finance, or economics preferred
  • Based in Europe or North America, near a major travel hub
  • Willingness to travel
