About the role
- Lead end-to-end revenue operations: generate quotes and invoices, reconcile discrepancies, track receivables, and ensure timely collections
- Oversee a small AR team (2 AR Specialists) to send invoices daily and review accuracy against order forms
- Resolve discrepancies with sales or customers and respond to customer and sales invoicing questions
- Take ownership of collections and confidently push back when needed
- Support accurate revenue reporting by collaborating with the accounting team and reviewing SQL query outputs
- Optimize systems (QuickBooks Online, Stripe) and lead upgrades, automation projects, and process improvements
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding billing, invoices, and payment statuses
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of accounting experience in U.S.-based companies, with strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Revenue Operations
- Proven experience managing the full revenue cycle (quote-to-cash) and overseeing small teams
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Stripe
- Ability to review SQL outputs for accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills to reconcile discrepancies and push back when necessary with customers or sales
- Experience with process improvements, system upgrades, and automation projects
- Familiarity with startup accounting practices and ability to adapt to evolving priorities
- Bonus: experience with Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Mercury, Chase, Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, or ClickUp
- Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with high integrity, ownership, and coachability, able to work independently or collaboratively
- General awareness of how AI is being applied in accounting and operations (a plus)
