About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architecture and system design
- Lead the design of scalable backend services and distributed systems
- Guide the incremental re-architecture of legacy systems

Requirements
What you’ll need- 8-12 years of software development experience
- Deep expertise in building and architecting scalable, distributed backend systems
- Real, hands-on exposure to legacy system modernization
- Strong grounding in system design and architectural patterns
- Solid data architecture experience
- Extensive experience designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise or SaaS platforms
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management
- A track record of driving technical direction and influencing multiple teams
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across teams
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
